Stalin at POWER

Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili- well known as Josef Stalin, dictator of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (U.S.S.R)

Brief outline of Josef Stalin's time at power

The infamous Soviet Russian dictator left a lot of dire consequences for Soviet Russia. His policies were effective to a certain extent only as they favored the reputation of the country rather than being effective to the country’s citizens. Collectivization was enforced and 90% of the farmers' production had to go to the government.Soon, other countries gaped at the development of the Soviet Union under Stalin's rule. They certainly did not know that what the Soviet Russians were going through.

Stalin’s policies, like the five-year plan, soon backfired. They were aimed at expanding and modernizing existing industries like industrial agriculture and  establish new ones and to also relocate those in the west further to the east to protect the industries if there were to be any attacks from the west ,mainly expected from Germany. Due to the post effects of world  war one ,Soviet Russians were in dire need of food, land and peace .Josef Stalin's party , the Bolsheviks , promised the Soviet Union
"peace, bread and war" .

Nonetheless, the very three essential things promised by Vladimir Lenin from the Bolsheviks party, before the October revolution, were deprived from the Soviet Union during Stalin's rule, who ironically, is also from the Bolshevik’s party.
